HTN: Basement Pot Farm Busted in Boston

Erie County Sheriff's deputies have 50-thousand dollars worth of marijuana from a Town of Boston home. Thirty-eight-year-old David Kester, and his wife, 39-year-old Tina were arrested, charged with running a pot-growing operation out of their basement for more than five years. Deputies found 125 potted plants, 30 pounds of processed weed and 30-thousand dollars cash in the Boston Cross Road home. A 14-year-old and eight-year-old were living in the house where the drugs were grown. The two are now in the custody of other family members.

Breaking News: Missing Boy Found

A missing six-year-old boy has been found. Jordan Wittcop was reported missing Thursday morning by his mother, believed to be with the mother's boyfriend. The boy was found by a Police Investigator sitting with John Mrozek in Mrozek's truck at Broadway and Memorial in the City of Buffalo. State Police say the six-year-old appears to be in good condition, but was taken to Children's Hospital for evaluation. Charges are pending against Mrozek.

Town of Boston Fire Injuries

A 33-year-old woman is in critical condition at ECMC after she jumped from a burning apartment in the Town of Boston Tuesday night. The second-floor apartment at 6191 Ward Road caught fire, and Colleen Wood had to leap out her window to escape the flames. She suffered second-degree burns and a broken leg. Burning candles appear to have caused the fire.
