HTN: Power Outage in T-O
Adding to the bitter cold in Toronto, a power outage near downtown T-O that left about 100,000 people without electricity. The outage began late yesterday when a broken water main flooded a power station. The city has opened heated shelters and some schools closed.

HTN: Toronto Businessman Behind Bills Series is Dead
The man behind the move of eight Bills games to Toronto has died just five days before the first regular-season game in the Rogers Centre. Ted Rogers passed away early today after suffering from congestive heart failure for the past few years. Under his leadership, Rogers Communications became a North American leader in wireless, cable, publishing, and broadcasting. The company also owned the Toronto Blue Jays. Rogers ranked second on Canadian Business magazine's list of 100 richest in Canada last year.

School Shooting in T-O
An apparent school shooting in Toronto today: Bendale Business and Technical Institute was in lockdown after a 17-year-old boy was shot in the hallway. The victim was rushed to the hospital in serious condition. Police are searching for either one or two suspects.

Bills Open Toronto Series Tonight
The Buffalo Bills take on the Pittsburgh Steelers tonight in Toronto in a preseason game. The Bills arrived in Toronto yesterday afternoon and took part in a rally last night in downtown Toronto. There are still some tickets available. WECK Sports Director Brad Riter talked about the event this morning with Donahue & Moore. He said he's not surprised the preseason game isn't a sell-out.
