Carekless Smoking Cited in Fatal Fire

Careless smoking may be the cause of a fire that killed a Genesee County teenager in his home on Friday. Seventeen-year-old Erik Mooney died, his mother and younger brother escaped. An EMS spokesman Mooney's mother was smoking about 30 minutes before the fire began.
