Collins Stays Out of Downsizing Debates

Erie County Executive Chris Collins says he is not going to take a stand on recent initiatives to downsize local governments. Activist Kevin Gaughan has been pushing for villages to be absorbed into their surrounding towns and, for town boards to cut back on their number of members. Collins says he is going to concentrate on reorganizing and better focusing county government instead.
