Grand Jury Postponed as Lynch Deal Looms

Sources say grand jury testimony scheduled for today in the Marshaw Lynch affair has been postponed, as lawyers are trying to negotiate a deal that likely would see Marshawn Lynch charged with leaving the scene of a personal-injury accident. Clark's office had earlier agreed to postpone the grand jury appearances of three of Lynch's teammates until at least next month, when the Bills return to Western New York for training camp.

Lynch Lawyer Meeting With Prosecutors

It's been over a week now since a car registered to Buffalo Bills running back Marshawn Lynch hit a woman crossing the street in the Entertainment District and then took off. Police have been unable to talk with Lynch, but Erie County District Attorney Frank Clark tells us that Lynch's attorney, Michael Caffery, has agreed to meet with investigators.
Lynch missed practice with the team last Friday, the same day his attorney met briefly with prosecutors.

Case to Challenge Clark

Kenneth Case has officially announced that he'll be running for Erie County D-A. Case, who has worked in the District Attorney's Office for the last 14 years, will get his shot against incumbent Frank Clark in the September primary. Case is currently working for a private firm and was a part of the group that connected Altemio Sanchez to a number of rapes in the area.
