Two Cops Hurt Subduing Shoplifter

Two Buffalo Police Officers were injured fighting with an alleged shoplifter at the Elmwood Market at 214 Elmwood Avenue. One officer suffered a possible broken ankle and the other was hit in the head with a bad full of bottles. Under arrest is 45-year-old Kenneth Youngblood of Best Street. He's been charged with assault and disorderly conduct.
