Violent Holiday Weekend in Buffalo
Buffalo Homicide detectives are looking into three deaths over the weekend. The first was late Saturday afternoon when police were called for a fight at 261 Woltz Avenue in the Ferry-Filmore District. They found an unidentified man dead in the house. On Saturday night two men were shot after a party in the 100 block of East Utica. One man was dead on arrival at ECMC. The third incident was just after midnight Monday when a 21-year-old Buffalo man managed to walk into Engine 23 at Bailey Avenue and Collingwood Avenue to tell firefighters he had been shot. He was rushed to ECMC where he later died.
