Bills Provide Own Power vs. Chargers
Fans on hand at the Ralph were generally thrilled with the Bills big win yesterday, but you can't blame fans at home for being a bit frustrated. Power went out several times at Ralph Wilson Stadium, reportedly caused by a cluster of metallic helium balloons that flew into a power line nearby. The balloons apparently acted as conductors and fused multiple lines together. There were several delays inside the stadium, and fans did without the scoreboard, replays and other amenities for a good chunk of the game. But it was worse for viewers, even those with rabbit ears, as the CBS-TV feed disappeared for most of the first half and part of the second.
