Amherst Tree Cutting Halted

State Supreme Court Judge Joseph Makowski has issued a court order stopping the cutting of Amherst trees. Attorney and resident James Duggan filed the motion. The town wanted to cut down the trees while school kids were on break, and before federal money ran out.
