Pachyderms Presented in Columbus

The Columbus Zoo is hosting the three female Asian elephants from the Buffalo Zoo. Buki, Surapa and Jothi took up temporary quarters earlier this month while the Buffalo Zoo's Elephant House undergoes an expansion. Zookeepers had kept them quarantined for two weeks after their long road trip, but they were introduced to Columbus zoo patrons yesterday.
