Suspect Arraigned In Hit And Run

Seventeen-year-old Ceanna Maybee is in critical condition at ECMC after being struck by a hit and run driver and left in a ditch in Salamanca on Saturday morning. Using pieces of the truck that were left at the scene, police found and arrested 34-year old Albert Covell of Randolph. He was arraigned Sunday on charges of leaving the scene, assault and reckless endangerment. Patti Maybee told the media that her daughter was able to recognize her, but is unable to speak.
