Conviction in Hamlin Park Murder

Lawrence "New York" Guinyard convicted in the 2007 murder of a Hamlin Park woman, Mary McAllister. Prosecutors are seeking the maximum 25 year to life. The victim's daughter, Brenda Taylor, says she will try to move on. Guinyard's attorney said the conviction will be appealed.
