HTN: Missing Man Found in Maryland

A missing Cheektowaga man was found safe in his own car yesterday morning, but a long way from home. Eighty-three-year-old Richard Eberle was picked up in Frederick, Maryland , after not showing up for a Tuesday afternoon doctor's appointment. He had last been seen about 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Tops Plaza on Union Road. Eberle was stopped in Maryland early yesterday morning, for driving north on a southbound road, and a run of his plate number showed the missing person alert. Eberle has a history of wandering off.
