Hometown Weather: Spring Snows
A lake-effect snow warning remains in effect through 8 a.m. for southern Erie, Wyoming Chautauqua, and Cattaraugus counties. Those southern areas could wind up with another three-to-five inches by the time it expires. Yesterday, some areas of Chautauqua County reported nearly six inches of snow. The National Weather Service says snow in April is not all that unusual. Average snowfall for the month is three-point-six inches.
