HTN: Statler Faces Gas Shutoff, Bankruptcy

Authorities are working to keep the gas on at the Statler. National Fuel was about to shut off service at the downtown landmark because of unpaid bills. Last month, a judge assigned management of the property to local businessman Steve Leous. Owner Bashaar Issa could be forced into an involuntary bankruptcy after failing to sell the building.
